Evidence begins to mount that your faithful correspondent has a gift of foresight… or a very steady finger on the pulse of society.
Remember how in "The Murderous Macaron", I had a Fragonard painting found in an attic and sold for 2 million euros? And then, a year later, newspapers reported how a family discovered that a painting in their living room was a Fragonard, and it was estimated at 1.5 - 2 million euros? Well, folks, I did it again! If you've read my novella "The Canceled Christmas", published a year ago, then this news bite from France may feel like a déjà-vu: "A group of Parisians put up a Christmas tree in front of the city hall of the 12th arrondissement, after the mayor decided not to have one for environmental reasons."
I promise I had nothing to do with those people.
But I can't promise they hadn't read my novella, hehehe!
